Frederick Elmore, M.D. is a vascular surgeon who established his medical practice in Fresno in 1977. He has always had a special interest in the treatment
of venous problems.
In 1990 Dr. Elmore dedicated himself to the full-time practice of Phlebology
(varicose veins & venous problems) and
established the Elmore Medical Vein and Laser Treatment Center.
Dr. Elmore is Board Certified in general surgery and Phlebology.
For 3 consecutive years (2005-2007) Dr. Elmore was asked by the American College of Phlebology (ACP) to teach other physicians about Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy
at the annual Congress of the ACP. In 2007 he was asked to present a scientific paper on Endo Venous Laser Therapy (EVLT) of varicose veins. And in 2008
Dr. Elmore had his data on the effectiveness of EVLT published in "Phlebology, The Journal of Venous Disease." Dr. Elmore has the highest success rate for EVLT ever reported
by any physician (99.8%)
In 2007 Dr. Elmore was one of only 40 physicians
in all of the US and Canada invited to participate in a special conference dedicated to
the scientific advancement of the field of Phlebology.
Dr. Elmore
is a member of the American College of Phlebology. He is author of a comprehensive
educational program entitled "The Office Management of Venous Problems," which has trained physicians throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
Believing strongly that we must give back to our local community, Dr. Elmore was a Trustee and a volunteer fund raiser for the Fresno State University
Bulldog Foundation for over 20 years. For six years he was on the Foundation Board for Fresno Christian Schools. He and
his wife, Debra, have been happily married for more than 24 years and have been blessed with two children. They are members of Oak Hills church, where
Dr. Elmore is a Deacon. He and Debra are in charge of Care Connections, a ministry that helps widows and others in need of practical
help in our community.
