Mario Gonzalez, M.D. has been in medical practice as a Board Certified Surgeon since 1989. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of California, San Francisco. He has served as Chief of Staff at Community Medical Centers for the past six years. He decided to devote his practice full time to
Phlebology
(varicose veins & venous problems)and has joined the staff at Elmore Medical Vein & Laser Treatment Center.
Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in Spanish, which is of immense help to our Hispanic patients. He is known for his friendliness and concern for the welfare of his patients. He has a special interest in Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy and Ambulatory Phlebectomy which are two of the variety of treatments offered at Elmore Medical. He and Dr. Elmore have the highest success rate for Endo Venous Laser Therapy (EVLT) ever reported in the medical literature.
Dr. Gonzalez is married and has 2 children. He enjoys cooking, golfing and skiing.
